Laurie Ann Goldman was appointed to the board of directors in December 2015. Goldman was named chief executive officer of New Avon LLC, in January 2019. New Avon, LLC is a privately held company and is the leading social selling beauty company in North America, with independent sales representatives throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Goldman is the founder and chief executive officer of LA Ventures, an investment and advisory firm for growth-oriented, consumer-facing businesses. She also serves on the board of directors of New Avon LLC and Guess? Inc., a contemporary apparel and related consumer products retailer. Goldman previously served on the board of directors of Francesca’s Holdings Corporation, a women’s clothing retailer.
For 12 years, Goldman served as chief executive officer of Spanx, Inc., where she led the company from a start-up into a branded global business. Previously she worked for several consumer product businesses and brands, including Macy’s and The Coca-Cola Company.
Goldman brings significant brand management, and multi-channel product and marketing experience. Her executive management expertise and board experience, make her a valued member of our board of directors.
