Joy Wald joined Terminix in July 2021 as senior vice president and CIO. She joined the company from G4S, the $10B+ integrated security company, where she was chief operating officer of the Retail Solutions division, managing service delivery of cash management, cash logistics and forecasting solutions, for the market leader.
Wald is a results-driven executive with a 20-year track record of operations leadership, re-engineering business processes, M&A, and IT business system transformation. Wald has a demonstrated ability to drive rapid growth and business transformation in all aspects of multi-unit and route-based service delivery, from customer care to field service, to sales management and back office functions.
Wald joined G4s Retail Solutions in 2015 to lead operations of the Retail Solutions business and develop an agile operations team to meet aggressive growth goals in the new business line. There she grew the software-based technology company into a high margin, recurring revenue business that provides a unique solution to improve customers operating expenses, working capital, and cash leakage.
Prior to joining G4S, Wald spent more than a decade with Tyco and ADT, where she helped lead the 2012 spin-off of ADT from Tyco International and subsequent listing as a public company on the NYSE. After the spin-off from Tyco she led the Strategy and M&A team for ADT and was later the vice president of Customer Care. During her earlier time at Tyco, Wald held various leadership positions within several of Tyco’s organizations with a wide range of responsibilities, including CIO for Tyco Integrated Security, North America.
Wald started her career with Accenture and Cima Consulting Group, holding a number of senior leadership roles advising the telecom sector on HR management and billing systems. Ms. Wald has a B.S. in Industrial Systems Engineering, summa cum laude from Georgia Institute of Technology.
